Online courses are increasingly popular, from self-guided experiences that people can buy and do at a time that suits them to a live set-date course, bringing people from across the globe to learn together, or something in between these with pre-recorded and live elements mixed together.

There are a plethora of platforms to host your courses and all sorts of tech you may or may not need.  In this webinar I'll talk you through how to create your own DIY course with minimal tech and investment.

FAQs

I'm interested, but not a creative, can I still come?

Of course!  Everyone is welcome.  The focus of the course and examples will be around the creative sector, but can be applied to most sectors.  The difference with this webinar will be it's tone and sense of fun - I'd never survive in the corporate world!

How useful will this webinar be? Is it worth my time?

Good question! 

In short, if you're interested in creating an online course then yes, it will be super useful. 

We've all been to webinars which turn out to be an hour long sales pitch. These are boring.

This webinar will be packed full of ideas, tips and tricks.  At the end I will tell you about how you can work with me further and give you a special offer price, but that's just the end bit.

I want to come but can't make the times. Will there be a recording?

Yes, at least one of the webinars will be recorded and sent round to all who have signed up, so you can watch on replay.  Don't hang about to watch it though as there's a special offer in it which is only available for a few days.

Do I have to have my own business or arts practice to join in?

Not at all.  Courses come in all shapes and sizes.  If you work for a larger organisation, this might be equally as useful.

A bit about me

Throughout my career in theatre, participatory arts and heritage, I've always explored different ways of facilitating, of galvanising people into action and engaging audiences in a more interactive way than passively consuming the arts.

I, like many people in the creative sector, love making new things.  To that end, I'd often pour love and many hours into creating live workshops which after facilitating once would never see the light of day again.  What a waste!

I trained as a transformational coach at the beginning of 2020 (excellent timing, with hindsight!) and have been working with 1-2-1 clients and facilitating a broad range of workshops on all sorts of themes from mindset to business strategy.

I really love creating online courses, knowing that the knowledge and the skills I'm sharing will be out there for people to access on a far broader (and less wasteful) scale than in the confines of a one off workshop.

I also love supporting creatives to make their own courses and with it the realisation that it's not too hard a thing to achieve and can be pivotal for your business.
