Heart of Haddo

These experiences have been designed by James Johnson of getMade Design and Sarah Longfield, with some brilliant help from Ben Mason.

Haddo Playhouse is aimed at small visitors - ideal age group would be 3 to 9 year olds, but there's plenty of bigger people who would love it too.  With themes of play and the Victorians, Playhouse provides an exciting way to engage with the history of Haddo and it's relationship to play and performance, putting the children at the heart of the experience.

Haddo Undercover has been designed for visitors aged 10 up.  Although our initial intention was for the 10-14 year old age bracket, this experience would also work well with all adult groups too if they're up for solving clues and going on a bit of an adventure.  Undercover works on the (untrue) premise that Johnny (4th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair) was a prolific treasure hunt creator and these are two of his hunts, recently found in a dark recess of the attic.
